Seeking a way to create connection in our community, we worked with neighbors to design a bench that could be easily and economically built and installed. The bench is a place to meet and converse, to sit and contemplate. It provides a locus for the activities of gathering. We worked with others on the project through the Chicago Community Trust’s “On the Table” program too.
