New Works by Fellows of the Midwest Jewish Artists Lab
Outside Inside: Exploring Boundaries and Otherness displays new works created by Spertus Institute’s second cohort of the Midwest Jewish Artists Lab. This yearlong initiative brought together twelve distinguished local artists for workshops, study, and critiques. During the course of the program, each participant created an artwork or series around the theme of boundaries.
The artists selected to participate in the second Chicago cohort of the Midwest Jewish Artists Lab are:
Stewart Cherlin | Alan Hobscheid |
Julie Cowan | Suzanne Horwitz |
Dorit Jordan Dotan | Sandra Perlow |
Gabrielle Egnater | Joyce Polance |
Peter N. Gray | Charles Rice |
Charlotte Hart | Pauline L. Silberman |
The Midwest Jewish Artists Lab is generously supported by a grant from the Covenant Foundation.
Exhibitions at Spertus Institute are made possible in part through the generous support of the Harry and Sadie Lasky and Charles & M.R. Shapiro Foundations
