These Abraham Lincoln and Mary Lincoln lithographs were recently purchased for the Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield Illinois. They will hang in a new area on the campus. These are large prints, each one is 22w x 60h.
Based on photos of the original clothing that Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln wore, these two images are exaggerated. Abraham Lincoln’s suit is longer and taller than real life and Mary Lincoln’s dress was slimmer than the original, but the difference in height was more accurate than not. The idea of these two persons versus the two bodied persons is pronounced because they are missing from these prints.
