artruckish embossment

WOW! artruck is 10 years old already. We have brought two trucks to Ashland Street in Evanston and invited lots of people to come and look at art created by local artists for 10 years.

Because of COVID we have been unable to hold an in-person event so artruck has been on hold. ISo we developed artruckISH. It is not the warm and friendship fueled event in the same way, but we are excited to have up to 100 artists create a work of art on an embossed sheet.

These pieces will be collected and displayed in a virtual show on Instagram at #artruckish. When we are next able to gather for the in-person artruck, we will display these works on the sides of the trucks for all to admire. Thank you to David Bond of Bond Artisan Foods for supplying treats to the artists.
